Easy Daysies
Elaine Comeau, a teacher in B.C. always used a visual daily schedule in her classroom. It provided the children with the knowledge of what was going to happen that day. It gave the students confidence, made them feel safe and in control of their day. Parents asked for her to develop her schedule for use in the home with normal routines. Elaine accepted the challenge and has come up with visual schedule of pictures and matching words that attach via magnets on the fridge. Elaine also has made restickable that are put on drawers, bins and closets. They help children put their own clothes and toys away. There is also a fold and go kit available as well as French.
Tangles
Ann did an order for Tangles while at the New York Toy Fair. Tangles are a great sensory manipulative, perfect for the classroom sensory box or anyone who needs a fidget toy. There will be a good assortment of styles including Tangle therapy (2 sizes), Tangle junior, Tangle hairy head, Tangle Baby's first ball and the Tangle friendship bracelet. Tangle Baby's first ball is good for teething, spatial development and interaction, as well as anyone needing an oral chew toy.
